Get to Know Dave

What is your favorite part about working with Aureon Consulting?

The overall work culture.

How do you like to start your day?

With a good cup of coffee and a little reflection time to pull a rough roadmap together for the day ahead.

What’s something you recently saw that made you smile?

It was a video clip from the Little League World Series Southwest Region Championship game between Team Oklahoma and Texas East.  After a stray pitch from the Texas East pitcher struck the Team Oklahoma batter, there was an incredible moment of sportsmanship between the two players.  Just had to smile knowing these two twelve year old boys get it.

What is your ideal way to spend your weekends?

Spending time with family and friends, just relaxing and having fun.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

I’d have to go with Flight to cut back on traffic time.

If you could only eat one dish for every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Lasagna.

If you could meet one person, living or dead, real or fictional, and have a conversation with them, who would you meet and what would you talk about?

Nile Kinnick. Being a life long Hawkeye Fan, the opportunity to meet and have a in-depth conversation with Iowa’s only Heisman recipient would be on the top of my list. Because of Nile’s strong morals and work ethic as well as his love for the game of football, the conversation would likely be centered around successes as well as shortfallings in football as well as daily life and how he approached/overcame these obstacles.

What is the worst/best fad you participated in?

Having a Pet Rock.

What’s one song or artist you’re embarrassed to admit you like?

My musical selection is pretty broad and really can’t think of any specific artist/song that I’d be embarrassed to admit to.

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Kevin Costner.
