How do you like to start your day?
1st alarm; before my feet hit the floor I begin to list things I’m grateful for, and then I pray for my family, friends, teammates, and our challenges, concerns, and blessings for our loved ones and our Country. That grounds me and I get on with my morning routine.
What’s something you recently saw that made you smile?
A beautiful Iowa sunset on my Mom’s family farm.
What is your ideal way to spend your weekends?
Escapism through the arts. Catching a live performance or band. Getting pulled into a book, movie, or TV show that transports me to another time in history, or another imagined world with fantastical apparel, culture, and customs.
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
Flying. Teleporting. Super speed.
If you could only eat one dish for every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza.
